"What is your MOQ?" is the first question almost every new buyer asks. Here is what the number actually means on the factory floor — and how to plan around it.

Our standard: 50 pieces per color per style

At Hongbin, the minimum order is 50 pieces for each color of each style. Order a 20-inch case in black and blue, and that is 50 + 50 = 100 pieces. The rule exists because each color change means stopping the line, purging material and resetting — below 50 pieces the setup cost eats the margin.

How buyers usually split a first order

• Test the water: 1–2 styles × 2 colors × 50 pieces = 100–200 pieces total.
• Small wholesale program: a 3-piece set (20"/24"/28") in 2–3 colors. Each size-color counts separately toward the 50.
• Private label launch: start with your hero color at 50–100 pieces, add colors once sell-through is proven.

What about samples?

Samples are separate from MOQ. We make samples to your specification (lead time confirmed per project) so you can check quality, zippers, wheels and logo placement before committing to the 50-piece minimum.

Can MOQ be lower?

For plain stock colors with your logo only, there is occasionally room to discuss — but custom colors, custom shells or new tooling always start at the standard MOQ. New molds are quoted separately per project.

Planning checklist for your first order

• Lock your colors early — every added color is another 50 pieces.
• Confirm logo artwork before sampling to avoid a second sample round.
• New customers: budget 30% deposit with order, 70% against copy of B/L.
• USD prices are valid 7 days; freight is confirmed at booking.
